<p>A coating showing achromatic partial reflection without absorption is formed by depositing on a transparent substrate (S) a broad-band antireflection stack (A1) and then, on this stack, a corrective layer (C) of the quarter-wave type, the refractive index of which determines the reflectance of the optical component produced in this way.
