PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from overheating by suction of air from an auxiliary air suction part, even while a main air suction part is in blowing down its adhering dust, by controllably connecting a dust blowdown means and a dust adhering amount detecting means opposed facing to the main dustproof air suction part of an engine used in an atmosphere plenty of dust. CONSTITUTION:An engine E provides in a suction side of its cooling fan 1 a dustproof air suction means 6 (for instance, wire net) comprising a main dustproof air suction part 8 and an auxiliary dustproof air suction part 9, and the auxiliary air suction part 9 is arranged in a position prevented from sucking dust in the outside easier than the main air suction part 8, that is, in a higher position, for instance, with less floating dust. A dust blowdown means 11 of fan or the like is additionally provided being opposed facing to this main air suction part 8, blowing blowdown air 13 from the inside removing dust 7 adhering to the main air suction part 8. A command means 28, being based on a dust adhering amount in the main dustproof air suction part 8 detected by a photocoupler 24 increasing not less than a blowdown start setting amount, places a relay unit 29 in an electrifyable condition starting the blowdown means 11 in its blowdown action. |
