PURPOSE:To obtain the subject light-variable yarn material having fine rugged stripes by pouring a photo-curing resin solution into a cylindrical hollow cutting die where fine straight grooves are cut on the inner wall and setting the discharged resin in a yarn-shape using the light source equipped at the discharge side for setting the resin. CONSTITUTION:An ultraviolet curing resin material 2 is supplied and poured into a cylindrical hollow cutting die 1 where fine straight grooves are cut on the inner surface of thereof using laser, etc., and the continuously discharged resin is cured by irradiation of the above-mentioned rays using the light source equipped in the neighborhood of the discharge opening of the cutting die 1 to obtain the subject yarn material 2' having the concave-convex surface 21 consisting of fine rugged stripes. The resultant yarn material shows a special aesthetic effect due to irregular reflection and spectral diffraction and suitably used as the raw yarn for a curtain, etc. |
