PURPOSE:To provide the subject treatment containing an emulsified dispersion composed of an organic compound having a specified anionic group or a specified hydrophilic group and a natural animal or vegetable oil and an inorganic chloride and capable of prevention of discoloration of a fiber material due to a light stabilizer, etc., by application of the treatment thereto. CONSTITUTION:An inorganic chloride (e.g., magnesium chloride, sodium chloride or potassium chloride) is blended with an emulsified dispersion composed of an organic compound having an anionic group such as sulfate, sulfonate or carboxylate or a hydrophilic group such as a polyalkylene glycol or a polyol and an organic compound such as a neutral animal, vegetable or mineral oil. A fiber material is treated with the resultant treatment to prevent yellowing of the textile product, especially in case of storage thereof wrapped up using a synthetic film (e.g., polyethylene) containing a light stabilizer. |
