<p>PURPOSE:To directly reflect the will of a human being by attaining the computer input in accordance with the position of a hand, for example, that is picked up by a video camera. CONSTITUTION:A hand 7 is put on an indicating plate 4 at first closed, then the image 12 of the hand 7 is displayed superimposed with it. Then a cursor 13 is displayed on the image 12 in accordance with the center coordinate position of the first of the image 12. A command is selected when the hand 7 is moved on the plate 4 and the cursor 13 set on the image 12 is moved onto an icon 11. If a finger of the hand 7, for example, is opened, the tip of the finger is detected and clicked. Then a command selected by the icon 11 is inputted. Thus it is possible to perform the direct computer input with no use of any special equipment and to reflect the will of a human being.</p> |
