PURPOSE:To prevent the life of the storage battery of a portable wireless apparatus from lowering, by receiving service-conduction signals from the portable wireless apparatus, and controlling the current output of a charging circuit so that the current output corresponding to the service-condition signals. CONSTITUTION:The device includes receiving means 16-19 for receiving from a portable wireless apparatus 30 service-condition signals SS, RS, RL, TS all representative of the service conditions of the portable apparatus 30, signal processing means 41 for processing the service-condition signals SS, RS, RL, TS that are received by the receiving means 16-19 and thereby producing command signals in accordance with the service-condition signals SS, RS, RL, TS, and current controlling means 15 for controlling the current output of a charging circuit 14 in response to the command signals sent from the signal processing means 41. The current output of the charging circuit 14 is controlled in accordance with the service-condition signal SS, RS, RL, TS sent from the portable wireless apparatus 30. Thus the storage battery 33 of the portable wireless apparatus 30 may not be overcharged even when it is repeatedly attached and detached to the and from the portable wireless apparatus 30. It is therefore enabled to prevent the life of storage battery the portable wireless apparatus from being shortened. |
