PURPOSE:To enable a device to attain its simplification and miniaturization with a single motor performing both actions by locking a tilt lock mechanism and releasing a telescopic lock mechanism to perform the telescopic action while reversing operation so as to perform the tilt action. CONSTITUTION:A tilt lock device 5 is placed in a lock condition, while a telescopic lock device 20 is placed in an unlock condition, when a motor 23 is driven, a tilt column tube 2 can not be swiveled for a fixed column tube 1. Consequently, an operating bar 24 is converted in its motion into the motion for an outer shaft 7 of an inner shaft 11, and it performs telescopic action extending and contracting for the shaft 7. Reversely placing the tilt lock device 5 in an unlock condition while the telescopic lock device 20 in a lock condition, when the motor 23 is driven, because the shaft 11 can not be moved for the shaft 7, the operating bar 24 converts its motion into the swivel motion for the fixed column tube 1 of the tilt column tube 2, and tilt action is performed with the tube 2 swiveling for the tube 1. |
