摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a detector of a radiation decomposition product of water capable of measuring concn. of a radiation decomposition product high in activity contained in the water used for an atomic reactor without using a reference electrode, and observing said product concn. in the water of the reactor as an corrosion environment continuously for a long period. CONSTITUTION:Metallic electrodes 21, 22 are made of corrosion-resistant platinum wires, and fixed to a flange 28 with an alumina insulator 26 interposed. The metallic electrode 22 on the side of water 24 of a reactor and the other electrode 21 are fixed with said insulators 26. Hydrogen sealed water 27 dissolving 0.1-10cm<3>/kg hydrogen is sealed in a conductor tube 25 made of stainless steel having bellows 25 for absorbing heat expansion, and separated from the water 24. Said electrodes 21, 22, the tube 25 and the insulators 26 are fixed with silver soldering or the like after said insulators are metallized. Potential difference between the electrodes 21, 22 are measured on the outside of the reactor by leading them with a shielded binary wires 23.
