<p>PURPOSE:To directly indicate the coordinates on a screen by moving a coordinate indicating device in a space to indicate the coordinates on a display screen and therefore omitting the limit of the using conditions. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate indicating device 201 contains a detecting means which detects the displacements in both horizontal and height directions. The displacement value obtained when the device 201 is moved vertically and horizontally is outputted. This displacement value is defined as the coordinates on a screen by a coordinate arithmetic means 107. Based on this coordinates, a coordinate display means 108 outputs a pattern like an arrow showing the coordinates to a display screen 109. Thus the input of the coordinate data is attained together with the data obtained by measuring the start and end points of the movement of the device 201 in case this device is moved vertically and horizontally in a space. Thus it is possible to omit the limit of the using conditions for a mouse, etc., and to realize the use of pointing rod, etc.</p> |
