PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of powdering and caking phenomena by blending highly basic steel slag with specified CaCN2Ca(OH)2-based calcium cyanamide. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 70-95wt.% highly basic steel slag having 0.5-5wt.% water content with 30-5wt.% CaCN2Ca(OH)2-based calcium cyanamide contg. nitrogen in the form of cyanamide is blended with 2-6wt.% binder such as ligninsulfonic acid basing on the amt. of the mixture. They are mixed and granulated. |
