<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a double-feed trouble liable to occur for weak-kneed sheets by bringing a sheet stored in a sheet storage section into contact with a portion connected from cam-shaped members of a sheet feeding means to a segmental feed roller to start the feed when feeding sheets. CONSTITUTION:When the sheet feed is started by a segmental roller 4 driven in each rotation, stacked sheets are pushed up in advance by cam-shaped members 8 and 8 rotated together with the roller 4 to the position where the upper face is brought into contact with the feeding roller 4 with little shock. The shock force vertically applied to the sheet face from the feeding roller 4 at the start of the feed is small, double feeding does not occur practically even if the sheets stacked in a sheet storage section and separated one by one are weak-kneed sheets, and the sheets can be smoothly separated and fed one by one.</p> |
