PURPOSE:To prevent contamination of the back of a document and to enable taking out of the documents placed in a state that documents are arranged, in order of a page, even after a circulation feed by a method wherein a walking bar carrying and carrying-back system is applicable for the circulation type document conveyance unit of a duplicating device. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of documents D are placed on a document plating plate in a state that a picture surface is up, the documents are placed in order of a first page, second page,... from above and are detected by means of a placement sensor. When, with the button of a picture forming sensor unit 20 depressed, the whole of the document D is pushed on a rear end regulating plate 11 of an RDH unit (recycling type document feed unit) 10 and edges are trued, a gate 12 is lowered. When the whole of the document D is fed between a roller 16 and a belt 15 by means of a roller 14, the gate 12 is lowered. In which case, when the feed signal is outputted from the unit 20, the belt 15 effects one full rotation and the topmost layer document D is fed and moved forward by means of a roller 16, and moved over a platen glass 28 at a given speed. The document D is exposed in a moved state by an optical system 21 below the glass 28. The exposed document D is detected by a discharge sensor and conveyed by means of a belt 19, and is placed on a remaining document D on a placing plate. |
