CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 81 which controls the whole copying machine connects input equipment 82 such as various detectors, etc., required to control a console panel 111, controls a driving system 84 such as the motor, solenoid, etc., of a photosensitive body 10, an exposure optical system, etc., through a driving part 83, and also controls respective high-voltage power sources 92, 93, 94, etc., which apply high voltages to electrostatic chargers 11, 14, and 15 for electrostatic charging, transfer, separation, etc. The photosensitive body 10 is connected to the microcomputer 81 through connectors 85 and 86 which is applied with a source voltage Vcc through a pull-up resistance R, so the photosensitive body 10 is securely protected by inhibiting output to the respective high-voltage power sources during the connection with a detection signal indicating whether or not the microcomputer is connected. |
