<p>PURPOSE:To enable high-efficiency regeneration of plant bodies form plant tissues or cultured cells by culturing plant bodies from plant tissues or cultured cells in a medium containing the culture filtrate or extract of photosynthetic procaryotes. CONSTITUTION:When plant bodies are regenerated from plant tissues or cultured cells through the plant tissue culture, the cultivation is effected in a medium containing the culture filtrate and/or extract of photosynthetic procaryotic microorganisms. The synthetic procaryotic microorganisms are, for example, cyanobacteria or photosynthetic bacteria. The technique is applicable to any kinds of plants, and to a variety of tissues such as shoot apexes, dormant buds, lateral buds, bran, seeds, embryonic axis, cotyledons or stems. Further, the technique can be also applied to the primarily cultured and subcultured bodies.</p> |
