The system telling about letters and diagrams of a page comprises a book (100) and a sound library system (200) for decoding in formation signals from the book and for synthesizing as sound. The book (100) includes an information transmitter (10) having coded data about contents of each page, a sensor (30) for detecting page, a coupler (110) for binding leaves. The system (200) includes a coupler (210) for coupling the book and the system, a decoder (230) for decoding the coded information, a memory (290) for recording the information, and a tone geneator (270) for synthesizing sound according to the information.
