LYMPHOKINE ACTIVATED KILLER CELL AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain the title cell having more excellent antitumor action than conventional lymphokine activated killer (LAD) cell by culturing T-lymphocyte extracted from a cancerous mammal to which an N-acetylchitooligosaccharide is administered in the presence of the saccharide and cultivating the lymphocyte in the presence of interleukin-2. CONSTITUTION:T-Lymphocyte extracted from a cancerous mammal to which an N-acetylchitooligosaccharide(NACOS) is administered obtained from hydrolysis of chitin is cultured in the presence of the NACOS. Then the culture solution of T-lymphocyte is immediately blended with interleukin-2 dissolved in PRMI-1640 medium containing 10% bovine fetal serum and cultured in the presence of CO2 at about 35-39 deg.C. Then a culture solution after cultivation is repeatedly centrifuged by using fresh RPMI-1640 medium as a culture solution to give the aimed LAK cell. The LAK cell is suspended in sodium chloride injection and administered to a cancerous organism.
