PURPOSE:To selectively mold a plurality of kinds of reels, which are different in size, with a single base mold by a method wherein outer ring making-up submolds having supplementary cavities, which cannot any one set of outer ring molding cavities having a plurality of kinds of outer ring sizes or a large and a small outer rings and a set of limb molding cavities together so as to form a perfect ring, are detachably loaded in spaces. CONSTITUTION:At molding, in spaces 4..., in which outer ring making-up submolds 7 are to be loaded, of a split mold 2, by loading submolds 7, for example, having supplementary cavities 7a, which connect to inside outer ring molding cavities 3b, a reel half having a small-sized outer ring 1a can be molded; by loading submolds 7' having supplementary cavities 7a', which connect to outside outer ring molding cavities 3a, a reel half 1 having a large-sized outer ring 1a can be molded. Further, in a center space 5, an inner ring molding submold 8 is loaded. In this case, several kinds of submolds 8, the outer diameters or widths of the inner ring molding cavity 8a of which are different from one another, can be prepared. |
