<p>The present invention relates to an activating agent for the specific productivity of animal cells, especially of recombinant cells and specific culture media containing it. This agent consists of a polyvinyl-pyrrolidone which has an average molecular weight of at least 2500 and optionally additionally contains a copolymer of ethylene oxide and of propylene oxide of average molecular weight of approximately between 1100 and 8500. Application: activation of the specific production of animal cells, for example of CHO cells producing IL-2.</p> |
