PURPOSE:To improve the formability and strength of a photosensitive layer and the electrical characteristics of the layer at the time of repeated use by incorporating specified polyacrylate and a specified hindered compd. into the surface region of the photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 4B consisting of an electric charge transferring layer 3 and an electric charge generating layer 2 and a protective layer 5 are laminated on an electrically conductive support 1 to obtain a sensitive body. The layers 2, 5 contain polyacrylate (A) having units represented by formula I as the principal repeating units as a binder and a compd. (B) having a hindered phenol unit and/or a hindered amine unit in the molecule. In the formula I, each of R<1>-R<8> is H, halogen, etc., and each of Z1 and Z2 is H, alkyl, etc. Polyacrylate having repeating units represented by formula II may be used as the component A and a compd. represented by formula III as the component B. |
