PURPOSE:To suppress a fluctuation in tension during winding to a low value by a method wherein, when an armature current feedback value is lower than a tension current reference value, the armature current feedback value and a change allowable bias value are added to produce a tension current limit value. CONSTITUTION:A speed correction current value rN1 is increased to a value higher than a current limit value rL1 so that a winding reel peripheral velocity V is increased to a line speed+forward speed alpha1 when a material 24 is wound and a load is applied. However, since a current output value rI1 is limited by the current limit val rL1, a current feedback value If is increased to this value. After elapse of a specified period, the increased If and a change allowable bias value rB are added by an adder 23 to produce a tension current limit value rTL and simultaneously produce the current limit value rL1. In this case, If+rB produces rI1 to output it, and If is increased to this value. Since, through repetition of the above motion at intervals of a specified period, rI1 is increased in a staged manner to a tension current reference value rTI, a fluctuation in tension in relation to a line can be suppressed to a low value. |
