The invention concerns a construction joint profile 1 which is characterised in that it has a dovetail profile and in that it can be reused. It is essentially made from a synthetic material. It comprises, on its small base, two rabbets 2 whose sides are a function of the diameter of the construction joint reinforcements. A roughened part 3 is provided between the rabbets 2.
