Device for holding the armature conductors of rotating machines with a commutator to each blade 7 of which are welded one above the other the ends 5a, 6a of two conductors 5, 6 belonging respectively to the upper and lower layers of the conducting wires originating from separate slots 4 in the armature 1, is notable in that the end 5a of the conductor 5 belonging to the upper layer of the conductors includes a means of centring in the form of a V-shaped lengthwise groove 10 obtained by punching so as to shroud the end 6a of the associated conductor 6 belonging to the lower layer of conductors by way of, or not, the brazing clip 11. <IMAGE>
