PURPOSE:To obtain an antenna advantageous in the case where the posture of an antenna installed side varies or the position of a remote side station varies by specifying the shape of a grounding conductor plate member. CONSTITUTION:The grounding conductor plate 3 is of the same shape as a dielectric plate 2 in their projecting images in the direction of z-axis, and when the thickness of the dielectric plate 2 is made to be (h), and the guide wavelength (this means wavelength on antenna) of working frequency is made to be lambdag, the sizes of various parts, i.e., the length La of sides A''B'' and C''D'', the length Lb of the sides A'B' and C'D', the length Lc of the sides AB and CD, the length Ld of the sides AaAb, AcAd, CcCd and CaCb, a space Le between the sides B''C'' and B'C', the space Lf between the sides D''A'' and D'A', the length Wa of the sides B''C'' and D''A'', the length Wb of the sides B'C' and D'A', the length Wc of the sides BC and DA, the length Wd of the sides BbBc, BdBa, DdDa and DbDc, the space We between the sides A''B'' and A'B', and the space Wf between the sides C''D'' and C'D' are given by expressions A.
