<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the seizure between a swash plate and a shoe by reducing the frictional coefficient and improving the abrasion resistance by forming a surface covering layer containing tin and at least one kind of the metal selected from among copper, nickel, zinc, lead and indium onto the surface of the swash plate which slidingly contacts a shoe. CONSTITUTION:The frictional coefficient of a surface covering layer 31 is maintained low by allowing tin and the metal selected from among copper, nickel, zinc, lead and indium to coexist, and hardness is increased, and the abrasion resistance is improved, and the layer 31 can be used for the surface of a swash plate 3 which slidingly contacts a shoe 5. Further, the shape of the swash plate 3 consisting of Al or Al alloy as basic material is the same as heretofore. Further, owing to the surface covering layer 31, the seizure between the swash plate 3 and the shoe 5 can be prevented, even under the condition in which liquid coolant is compressed or under the lubrication disorder condition in which coolant gas leaks outside a circuit.</p> |
