PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of light from a connection part, to improve the continuity of an optical shutter part and to ease the work precision, by connecting plural optical shutter array elements through a light shielding flexible dielectric. CONSTITUTION:Plural signal electrodes 16 and 17 are arranged in a line on (Pb, La)(Zr, Ti)O3(PLZT) substrate 14 and 15 having the electrooptic effect, and common electrodes 18 and 19 facing to signal electrodes 16 and 17 are provided, thus constituting respective optical shutter array elements 11 and 12. Plural optical shutter array elements 11 and 12 have side ends connected to each other by a light shielding flexible dielectric 13 (such as ''Cemedine 540 ''). Consequently, light is not leaked from the connection part 13, and the continuity of the optical shutter part is improved, and the work precision is eased. |
