PURPOSE:To easily produce the receiving mouth part of a composite pipe by preventing the release of a synthetic resin layer by mounting a cylindrical release preventing member in the end part of the composite pipe wherein the inner peripheral surface of an outer pipe is lined with a synthetic resin layer and expanding the diameter of the end part of the composite pipe along with the release preventing member. CONSTITUTION:A composite pipe 10 wherein a synthetic resin layer 13 is adhered to the inner peripheral surface of a metal pipe 11 by an adhesive layer 12 excepting the end part, to which a receiving mouth part is formed, is used and the receiving mouth part is formed to the end part of the composite pipe 10 by a bulge processing machine 20. At this time, the end part having a release preventing member 30 mounted thereto of the composite pipe 10 is externally fitted to an elastic member 25. Thereafter, a split outer mold 21 is integrated with and fixed to the composite pipe 10 and a hydraulic cylinder 23 is driven to move a rod 22 in a retracting and entering direction. By this method, the press member 24 mounted to the leading end of the rod 22 is moved toward the end part of the composite pipe 10 in the outer mold 21 to compress the elastic member 25 and expands the end part having the release preventing member 30 mounted thereto of the composite pipe 10 to be pressed to the inner surface of the outer mold 21. Therefore, the end part of the composite pipe 10 and the release preventing member 30 are expanded into a predetermined shape slightly reduced in its diameter at the end part on the opening side thereof. |
