PURPOSE:To enhance the stability of the device and the alignment precision by a method wherein, within an oscillator in an injection lock mode, the beam diameter of master laser beams is altered by a collimator to be equalized with that of a slave oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The beams emitted from a master oscillator 1 are overlapped with the visible beams of a HeNe laser 11 to enlarge the beam diameter around three times by a collimator 9. Next, the beams are entered into an injection mirror 15 provided in a resonator of a slave oscillator 2 by metallic mirrors 14a, 14b. The master laser beams reflected on the mirror 15 enter on the optical axis of the oscillator 2 to reciprocate in the resonator passing through a laser exciting region 8 with the beam diameter restricted by an aperture 13. Through these procedures, the alignment with the optical axis can be made with high precision so that the precision of injection lock may be enhanced using the master laser beams efficiently. |
