Improvement made to devices known as "snowboards", of the type including a ski-type sliding body whose upper face constitutes a bearing surface for the user's feet, his feet being connected to two bindings and bearing devices permitting holding of the user on the said snowboard and guiding of the board by the user, characterised in that the line axes 4, 5 of the right and left sides of the snowboard are offset substantially by the difference of the front and rear bearing axes owing to the inclination of the bindings. <IMAGE>
