PURPOSE:To improve light receiving efficiency inexpensively by sliding a piston by means of expansion and contraction by the temperature of gel-like heat accumulator, and moving a lever thereby to alter the direction of a solar cell panel so that a light receiving angle becomes substantially perpendicular to a solar light beam at the time of the sun directed in the south. CONSTITUTION:A lever 1 is so supported by a post 3 through a pivot bearing 2 as to rock like a seesaw, and a solar cell panel 4 is secured to one end of the lever 1. A cylinder liner 8 for engaging a piston is provided at the upper wall of a heat insulation vessel 7, and its cavity is filled with a heat accumulator 9 of gel-like wax having large expansion coefficient made of silicone oil having large specific heat, ethylene glycol, etc., used as anti-freeze, which is not frozen in winter and having a time constant of at least 72 hours or more. The piston 6 is slid up and down upon expansion and contraction by the temperature of the accumulator 9, the lever 1 is moved through a connecting rod 5 to alter the light receiving face of the panel 4 so that the light receiving angle becomes substantially perpendicular to the solar light beam at the time of the sun directed in the south. |
