<p>PURPOSE:To deodorize by forming ammonium phosphate by the reaction of ammonia gas, which is conventionally adsorbed on an activated carbon, with an aqueous phosphoric acid solution impregnated in a filter. CONSTITUTION:Ammonia gas discharged from a developing machine 1 through a pipe 3 is taken into a main body case 8 from a gas sucking blower 9. Meanwhile, an aqueous phosphoric acid solution 10 is pushed upward through a pipe 13 by a shower pump 12. The elevated aqueous phosphoric acid solution 10 is sprayed to a filter 11 like a shower by a shower nozzle 15 and impregnated in the filter 11. The ammonia gas taken into the main body case 8 is elevated and while passing the filter impregnated with the aqueous phosphoric acid solution 10, a reaction of ammonia and phosphoric acid is carried out to produce odorless ammonium phosphate. The gas passed through the filter 11 is discharged as an odorless gas.</p> |
