摘要 PURPOSE:To form a homogeneous reinforced plastic layer to the surface of a core body by preventing the movement of a glass fiber with respect to the core body by fixing a glass fiber mat to the core body made of foamed plastic by staples and holding the whole in a split mold to form a glass fiber reinforced plastic layer so as to cover the core body. CONSTITUTION:A glass fiber mat 21 covering a core body 11 made of foamed plastic is three-dimensionally cut in matching relation to the shape of the core body 11 so as to be capable of covering both upper and lower surfaces of the core body. The cut glass fiber mat is laminated to the upper and lower surfaces of the core body 11 so as to cover the core body 11 and fixing jigs 22 such as staples are driven in the core body 11 from above through the laminated and covered glass mat 21 to fix the glass mat 21 to the core body 11. Thereafter, this core body 11 laminated by and covered with the glass mat 21 is arranged in a split mold 40 and, after the clamping of the mold, a reactive liquid plastic raw material such polyurethane is injected in the split mold 40 under pressure from a pressure introducing port 41 to be infiltrated in the glass fiber mat 21 and, after reactive curing, a glass fiber reinforced plastic molded product 10 wherein the core body 11 made of foamed plastic is covered with the glass fiber reinforced plastic layer 20 is obtained.
