The invention relates to a device making it possible for sailing boats of the catamaran type to come about whilst improving the manoeuvring comfort and sailing safety. It consists of two centre boards pivoting about a pin at their front part and connected together at their back upper part by a cable passing through the boat by virtue of a system of guidance using pulleys. This device is applicable to all sizes and all types of catamaran: sport, racing or cruising. <IMAGE>
