The present invention relates to a novel electrophoretic device applied to a medicinal plant or the like intended to increase the latter's content of active substances and in particular of metal oligoelements. The invention according to Figure 1 is characterised by a potentiostat 1 or any other source of continuous current, by a cathode 9 applied to the upper part of the plant and by an anode 7 fixed to the base of the plant. The polarisation current is controlled by an ammeter 3. The plant is watered by the enriching substance. The invention is used in the phytotherapeutic and horticultural industry. <IMAGE>
