<p>PURPOSE:To easily examine storage data by always displaying data stored in a specific location in a storage element by the use of a display element. CONSTITUTION:A memory card 1 is energized from a power source via an external reader/writer through a power source contact terminal 3, transmits and receives data via data and address contact terminal 2, and stores the data in a storage element 7. A processor 6 in this case is set to a queuing state. Then, when the card 1 is disconnected from the reader/writer, a power source controller 4 detects the voltage drop of the terminal 3, starts supplying a voltage with a battery 9, simultaneously operates a processor control line 5, and sets the processor 6 in an operating state. The processor 6 reads data written in the specific address of the element 7, and drives a display element 8 to display the data. When the card 1 is again connected to the reader/writer, the controller 4 detects the voltage rise of the terminal 3, operates the line 5 to set the processor 6 to a queuing state, and switches the power supply from the battery 9 to the terminal 3.</p> |
