<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the surface of a wall on which an air purifier and its surroundings from being contaminated by providing a metal plate between the rear of the main unit and the surface of the wall within the area equal to 85 to 115% of the rear surface of the main unit and forming holes on the periphery of the metal plate, in the wall mounting-type air purifier with an ionization device. CONSTITUTION:The main unit of an air purifier with an ionization device is installed leaving a space 6 to 8cm or less between the main unit and a wall surface. The air purifier has a metal plate 33 between the rear of the main unit 20 and the wall surface within an area equal to 85 to 115% of the rear surface(rear box)20 of the main unit. In addition, holes 37 are formed on the periphery of the metal plate 33. Consequently, contaminant particles generated from the rear box 20 which is magnetized are attracted to the metal plate 33. In this case, the wall surface located at the rear 20 of the main unit is protected against contamination because the attraction effect of the metal plate 33 is not excessively strong or weak. Furthermore, the attraction effect of the metal plate 33 on the periphery, i.e., the boundary of contamination of the metal plate 33 is diffused and subsequently reduced. This results in the fading of the boundary of contamination and the subsequent elimination of a generated boundary.</p> |
