<p>PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid having a high dye-dissolving property, good storage stability for a long period, giving printed images containing a high concentration of the dye and having excellent water and light resistance by containing an aqueous medium and a specific triazine water-soluble dye. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid contains (A) 10-50wt.% of an aqueous medium comprising water, ethylene glycol, N-methylpyrrolidone, etc., and (B) 0.5-10wt.% (preferably 1-6wt.%) of a water-soluble dye having a group of formula I and/or a group of formula II [R is H, (substituted) alkyl or (substituted) phenyl; n is 0 or 1]. The component B includes a compound of formula III [D is the residue of a water-soluble dye (preferably that having one or more SO3M groups)].</p> |
