PURPOSE:To miniaturize an option board by retrieving and recognizing information on a memory on the option board by means of farmware on a main board- side. CONSTITUTION:The processor is constituted by including the main board 1, the option board 2 and a display device 4. A memory part 3 on the option board 2 is connected with CPU 8 on the main board 1 through BUS 11 and it can be accessed by a memory diagnosis means 5. A diagnosed result is analyzed by an analysis means 6 and is stored. Thus, a switch on the option board 2 which is conventionally required can be eliminated and the processor can be miniaturized. |
