EXECUTION OF DISPERSION APPLICATION PROGRAM FOR DATA PROCESSING NETWORK

PURPOSE: To improve the processing efficiency of a distributed application by executing plural distributed application programs executed by a host system and a terminal in parallel. CONSTITUTION: In these methods, plural mutually connected terminals 21 including host systems 23 and 25 having virtual computer type operating systems and a multitasking intelligent workstation are provided. The host systems 23 and 25 prepare plural virtual computers and the computers become execution preparation states before they are assigned to a distributed application program. A pool control program assigns an idle state virtual computer to an end user terminal running the distributed application program from a pool for only the time required for completing a LU 6.2 conversation, returns the computer to the pool when the conversation is finished and assigns the computer to an other user. Thus, the processing efficiency of the distributed application is improved.
