PURPOSE:To obtain the subject filament yarn, having a hollow filament cross-sectional shape with a specific percentage of hollowness and containing kaolinite as a micropore-forming agent in a specified proportion and excellent in special luster, dry touch and flexural resilience with lightweight feeling. CONSTITUTION:The objective multifilament yarn, containing <=0.1wt.% delustering agent and 0.5-5.0wt.% kaolinite and having a hollow filament cross- sectional shape with 5-30% average percentage of hollowness and 5-50% coefficient of variation in percentage of the hollowness expressed by the formula CV=(V<1/2>/xX100) (V<1/2> is the square root of unbiased variation in percentage of hollowness of the total filaments constituting the multifilament yarn; x is average percentage of hollowness of the multifilament yarn). |
