<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a support web for roof foundation web having high strength and tear resistance by preparatorily solidifying a nonwoven polyester web having a specific fineness and a specific basis weight with a smoothing calender, applying a binder and subjecting the product to final solidification treatment. CONSTITUTION: A nonwoven web having a basis weight of 50-100 g/m<2> , preferably 70-90 g/m<2> is produced by using polyethylene terephthalate fiber having a fineness of 1-8 dtex, preferably 2-5 dtex. The nonwoven web is preparatorily solidified with a smoothing calender, coated with 5-25 wt.%, preferably 10-15 wt.% of an acrylate binder and subjected to final solidification treatment.</p> |
