PURPOSE:To prevent the malfeasant utilization of a missing and stolen card by completing card reading first by conducting card operation in a card reader twice for several sec. CONSTITUTION:The number of a card inserted is read during counting operation, second passage through the slit of a card reader of the card is monitored, and the result of the decision is transmitted over a host computer 6 by a host transmitting means 5 when the non-insertion of the card for the second time is decided even after lapse for five sec. The next card begins to be read. Accordingly, the mis-use of cards by others can be prevented. |
