PURPOSE:To decrease after-colors even after an ultra-rapid processing is carried out by incorporating specific dyes and anionic surfactants into at least one layer in the silver halide photographic sensitive material and processing the material within 40 seconds of the processing time up to developing fixing, washing and/or stabilizing processing by using an automatic developing machine of >=1,500mm/min line speed. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material contains at least one kind of the dyes and anionic surfactants expressed by the formulas Ia, Ib, Ic in at least one layer thereof and is processed within 40 seconds processing time up to the developing, fixing, washing and/or stabilizing processing by using the automatic developing machine of >=1,500mm/min line speed. In the formulas, R1 to R6 respectively denote an alkyl group; Y1 and Y2 denote a nonmetallic atom group necessary for forming a pyrrolopyridine ring; L denotes a methyne group; X<-> denotes anion; m denotes 4 to 5 integer; n denotes 1 or 2: and n is 1 when the dye forms an intramolecular salt. The generation of the after-colors, etc., is decreased in this way even if the photosensitive material is subjected to the ultra-rapid processing. |
