PURPOSE:To confirm the residual battery capacity of a receiver by operating a confirming switch for residual battery capacity, discriminating to which predetermined sections the residual battery capacity corresponds and annunciating the residual battery capacity in a pattern in response to the result of discrimination. CONSTITUTION:When a power switch 20 is applied and the operation is started, a decoder 14 monitors continuously whether or not a battery voltage is 1.1V or over, and sends a control signal of a prescribed pattern to a speaker drive amplifier circuit 15 and an LED driving amplifier circuit 17 if the voltage is less than 1.1V and applies a low voltage notice to the carrier. When the battery voltage is 1.1V or over, whether or not a residual battery capacity confirmation switch 19 is depressed is checked, and when the switch is depressed, the residual battery capacity is informed to the carrier by a ring tone and a blink in a pattern in response to the residual capacity of the battery 21. Thus, the degree of the residual battery capacity of the battery of the radio selective call receiver is recognized by having only to operate the switch. |
