STRETCHABLE NON-WOVEN FABRIC AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a soft non-woven fabric having excellent stretchability and suitable for supporter and bandage by entwining a specific web consisting essentially of a polypropylene based heat-adherent conjugate fiber by water needle method and then blowing hot air thereto. CONSTITUTION:An uniform web being <=50% in web shrinkage at 100 deg.C, >=50% and >=20% larger than web shrinkage at 100 deg.C in web shrinkage at 120 deg.C and <=20% in web shrinkage at 100 deg.C is formed of >=70wt.% polypropylene based heat-adherent conjugate fiber and <=30wt.% other organic fiber. Entwining treatment by water needle method is applied to the web and then hot air having temperature lower than melting point of high melting point component among heat-adherent conjugate fiber is blown at 120 deg.C to the web retained in water- containing state while carrying the web in tension-free state to provide the aimed web in which contraction and fusion between fibers were carried out.
