PURPOSE:To both automatically perform polishing work and greatly improve a processed amount per a worker, by constituting a device in such a manner that a running truck, self-propelled while performing the polishing work, can be moved turning. CONSTITUTION:For processing and arrangement work of a foundation before painting of a bottom plate 2 in a ship shell block, a lateral set of guide wheels 6a, 6b are provided in the front part of a running truck 5, self-propelled on the bottom plate 2, while running wheels 8L, 8R, rotatively driven by respectively independent air motors 7L, 7R, are provided in the rear part of the truck. Further the wheels 6a, 6b and 8L, 8R are constituted by magnet rollers. When the truck 5, on the bottom plate 2, a polished surface, is started, discs 13 of angular sanders 12a, 12c are also rotated, in accordance with self-propelled motion of the truck 5, polishing work is performed for a division of the bottom plate 2, by automatically repeating turning motion at each time the truck 5 collides against a transverse 4 or longitude 3. In this way, a processed amount by a single worker can be greatly improved. |
