PURPOSE:To manage tapping temp. or the temp. of molten steel in a molten steel pan adequately by buring a temp. sensor in the bricks in the molten steel pan, operating the quantity of heat accumulated in the pan from the results of the temp. measurement thereof and grasping the state of the pan. CONSTITUTION:Thermocouples TC1, TC2 which measure the temp. of bricks 3 in a molten steel pan 1 are buried at plural points such as in the central part on the side wall of the bricks 3. The results of the measurement thereof are fed to a data recorder 6 mounted to a shell 2 in the bottom part of the pan 1 and are written at proper periods. A strain gauge 7 is mounted at the center of the shell 2 in the bottom part and the quantity of the steel received is measured. The data thereof is fed to the recorder 6. In accordance with the recorded data, the quantity of the heat accumulated in the pan 1 is operated with a data analyzer 8. In accordance with the quantity of the accumulated heat, tapping temp. and the temp. of the molten steel in the pan 1 are set. Thus the tapping temp. and the temp. of the molten steel in the pan 1 are controlled adequately in accordance with various fluctuations in the pan 1. |
