<p>PURPOSE:To make compact and satisfy durability and heat resistance with respect to fuel and mechanical characteristics by constituting of acrylonitrile styrene copolymer containing acrylonitrile. CONSTITUTION:A tank is constituted of acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer containing 50 to 75mol% acrylonitrile. This copolymer has physical properties of melt flow rate(MFR) of 1.5 to 10g/10min, density of 1.06 to 1.12g/cm<3>, tensile strength of 700 to 850kgf/cm<2> and Vicat temperature of 95 to 105 deg.C, while it is remarkably higher in strength and elasticity than polyethylene and small in interaction with fuel. Therefore, the fuel tank is light, less permeable, and less expansible.</p> |
