PURPOSE:To stabilize the electrostatic chargeability of a copying device for which a photosensitive body of a low potential contrast is used by adding silica having a high hydrophobic property, a binder and fine particles consisting of conductive particles to the toner. CONSTITUTION:This toner is used for the electrostatic copying device for which the photosensitive body having <=400V absolute value of the potential contrast (difference between dark part surface potential and bright part surface potential) is used. The toner is used by adding 0.05 to 10pts.wt. hydrophobic silica (e.g. silica treated with org. silicon compd., etc.) having >=50 degree of hydrophobicity and 0.01 to 5pts.wt. fine particles (A) having 0.01 to 5mum grain size. Further, the particles consisting of 100pts.wt. binder of the above-mentioned toner and 5 to 100pts.wt. conductive particles (e.g. graphite) are used for the fine particles A. |
