PURPOSE:To attain the correcting work of a source program without leakage at the work by adding a marker to the position of the source program in which a translation program detects an error concerning the inputted file and using an existing program development environment. CONSTITUTION:Accepting a source program 2, translation program 1 executes translation and when an error is not detected, prepares a translation program list 4 and an object program 5. When an error is detected, concerning the row where an error is found, a marker (for example, !) is added to a head, the message indicating the error contents to a next row is outputted to a source program 3 for correction. Concerning the line without any error, the same row as the source program 2 is outputted to the source program 3 for correction. Consequently, by retrieving the marker added by a general editing program, the simple correcting work without omission can be executed.
