摘要 PURPOSE:To perform synchronizing conversion to an asynchronous circuit while a hierarchy is maintained by registering a module to be converted and additionally providing a means which stops converting works when all conversions are completed. CONSTITUTION:A hierarchical structure analyzing means analyzes hierarchical circuit connecting data and outputs hierarchical structure data by inputting the circuit connecting data. On the other hand, an asynchronous circuit section detecting means detects an asynchronous circuit section and outputs asynchronous data. A converting module registering means registers a module to by converted in a converting module table from a low-order module by referring to the hierarchical structure data and asynchronous data. The converting module registering means also stops converting works when all conversions are completed. A gate is inserted into the asynchronous point of the module registered in the converting module table by means of an asynchronous part converting means so that an asynchronous signal can be controlled from the outside at testing time. Then the operation is again returned to the converting module registering means and the above-mentioned operations are repeated to the hierarchy higher in rank by one stage until all conversions are completed.
